We have been so busy in art, and I am behind in posting.  Here is a look at the last week:

Kindergarten students have been practicing making shapes.  We cut squared out of primary color construction paper and glued them onto the first letter of our names.

First Grade Students completed drawing a circle in a circle.  Second grade students finished their starts and then painted over it with watercolor.  We learned about watercolor resist.

First Grade

Third and Fourth Grade students traced their hands and added different patterns to every space.
Grade 3

Fifth and Sixth grade students completed their spinning wheel projects by painting a watercolor wash.  They were then having a bad hair day. They drew faces and added crazy hair using different patterns.

Seventh and Eighth Grade students completed their puzzle projects and have started a Mask Collage. They each chosen a famous person and are completing a mask by tearing and gluing paper over the picture.
