Now things are really starting to get interesting.  We are so busy in art class.  Students are busy finishing up projects and starting new projects. The art work keeps coming in.  I love sharing my students' art work, and I am very proud of their accomplishments.

Kindergarten students had "apple week" in their regular classroom, and they did a lot of different activities and lessons about apples.  We created our own apples.  We cut apples from paper plates, drew on some seeds, cut out a leave and a stem, and then painted the apple with a sponge.



First Grade:  I wanted to share some more circle in a circle projects. 



We also made apple mobiles in first grade. These were very tricky as we had to cut two of each apple in order to get the yarn to go through the center of the apples.  

Second grade students missed art this week as they were on a field trip.  Photos are still on their way to show off their shining starts.  







Third Grade students started a new project involving a fish with organic shaped scales.  In the mean time, here are some more hand print patterns:
